That level was pretty brutal and definitely a little too much for the casual gamer. I liked it a lot because it was the first (and, unfortunately, last) *really* challening level of the game. Even the "Final test" didn't take me more than 10 lives or so, which was a little disappointing. This level took me nearly two hours and about 50-60 lives? I don't really know because you constantly get more lives because of all the coins. Because of the stupid flagpole I had to play the level three times, but got massively better each time. On my third try I only lost three lives or so. The end felt really rewarding. I would've liked to play more of such levels. In terms of Super Mario Maker, I would say this was a 1 or 2% clear rate level in the "Super Expert" category.

When you think about it, its no wonder Grooves only won the award once. What are his movies even about? A parade happens? Say what you will about Conductor, at least he understands films need conflict

For us this was a coop vs mode game. Then the game is played with four people two teams and the rankings are separately listed. We played all dkc games in release time, and for me it was one continuous adventure. That the kongs went on a holiday was the mood i liked most of the 3. Because we were on holiday too in a cabin in the woods, which we own. I remember the saw in the woods levels, that day it started to rain. We could see only trees and rain outside. My mom made warm croissants with chocolade, we never ate that. And in that setting we started the tree saw level. It was very immersive. I thought the music was awesome too (just as the rock climbing song, elephant in cascade land song (better than rollo to the resque, factory song and the wasted waters song) although i was very scared of the saw. Our team lost the game in completion time. We failed when we had to find the lost world, and the other team was faster.

I remember playing this in a toystore for the first time. We were already blown away by dkc1. So when i played as the snake in the rainy pirate ship level i was like woah..!!!!!! Had to wait till christmas to get the game though
